Evicted housemates, Isilomo and Avala finally distributed 80 coins each from the show among the remaining housemates.
The Bet9ja coins were Biggie’s currency that could be exchanged for several favors as the show progresses.
While Avala gave her remaining coins to Seyi, Isilomo helped Omashola out with hers. Both Omashola and Seyi were surprised and appreciative of the gesture.
Avala and Isilomo were evicted as the housemates with the least amount of coins despite playing an arena game in an attempt to stack more.
Meanwhile at the house, the remaining 19 housemates lost their wager and had to give up their coins to save one another.
After putting up a wonderful performance both at the robot Task and the Bet9ja Arena Games on Saturday, the housemates were required to contribute 2, 500 coins among themselves.
After all the back and forth, Nelson, the Head of House, gathered everyone in the lounge to discuss their options.
Each Housemate had to contribute whatever he or she had, since the Task concerns every single one of them.
Jeff appeared exemplary by contributing a staggering 400 Bet9ja Coins while Tacha gave 100 and Omashola gave his last 20 coins.
Both housemates and fans are eager to find out Biggie’s plans with the coins as eviction holds on Sunday.
Khafi Kareem in trouble with UK police for joining BBNaija reality show
Khafi Kareem, the 29-year-old UK Policewoman, now a housemate in the Big Brother Nigeria reality show is in trouble with her superiors in the London Metropolitan Police and the New Scotland Yard headquarters.
According to reports from England, she is participating in the reality show without lawful permission, as her request was turned down when she applied.
Kareem, from Ekiti State, was pictured alongside Commissioner Cressida Dick as the Met celebrated 100 years of women in the force last November.
Scotland Yard said it had not granted Kareem’s request to appear on the program and that an internal investigation would be carried out.
The Met said Kareem was granted unpaid leave for an “unrelated reason” ahead of appearing on the show but her request to take part in the program was denied.
According to The Sun, Kareem joined the force as a Pc based at Lambeth station in 2015, having worked part-time as a special constable for four years.
The UK Sun newspaper further reported that Khafi’s sex romp with Ekpata Gedoni on the show has further incensed her colleagues and bosses for bringing the force into disrepute.
She is facing an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards, The Sun reported.
One colleague said: “She’s a serving British police officer — it’s outrageous. She asked permission to go on the show but, when her request was refused, she went anyway.
“Her out-of-office email reply blatantly says that she is away from work, yet no one does anything.
“Other officers working with her are furious that she can just disobey orders then swan off Africa and tarnish the reputation of the force.”
Former bit-part actress and shop assistant Khafi joined the Met as a PC based at Lambeth station in 2015 after working part-time as a special constable for four years.”
A post on the website of Africa Magic, the television channel which broadcasts Big Brother Naija, says Kareem joined the show, the Pepper Dem Gang, “so that she can do societal good”.
“Police officer Khafi Kareem believes that you can have it all if you believe in yourself.
“She is not only hoping to win the prize money but she wants the exposure that being in Big Brother Naija House brings so that she can do societal good.
“What people don’t know about her is that she is secretly talented in spoken word, singing, and dancing. She is an Ekiti native who resides in London.”
The post also reveals Kareem would spend the prize money, reportedly worth 30 million nairas (£68,000), on hosting a travel show in Nigeria, as well as investing in charitable causes. In London, she is on yearly salary of £30,000.
Esther makes history, becomes first female BBNaija ‘Head of House’
Prior to her win on Monday, the position had been occupied by two make housemates, Jeff and Nelson.
Esther became victorious by winning the ‘‘Memory Challenge’ where housemates were required to memories the numbers of cards found in the house for 20 minutes.
After the 20 minutes elapsed, the housemates moved to the Arena where Big Brother made a twist to the game.
According to Biggie, the housemates were a bit too uptight so he decided to spice things up. He made then dance to music for five minutes.
After dancing, Biggie asked the housemates to guess the location of the numbers in the house and any housemate who guessed wrongly the location of the numbers would leave the Arena.
The first casualties were Frodd, Tacha, and Mercy. Tuoyo got disqualified for the second time in two weeks for talking to Omashola during the task.
Jeff and Mike both got disqualified after breaking the rules. Nelson, Sir Dee, Khafi and Thelma all got axed as they couldn’t keep up with identifying the numbers at the correct locations.
Omashola, Ike, Jackye, Gedoni, Seyi all could not get their locations correctly with Esther reading all locations correctly, making her the head of house.
The Head Of House position comes with 250 Bet9ja coins and the special room where the winner will stay for a week.
